Chapter Exams: At the beginning of each week, an exam will be given. It is a short multiple-choice exam covering the reading assignment. These exams are given at the beginning of class, and if you are late or absent, you will miss them and receive a zero.
This semester we have a networking lab in Pearce hall. We will develop details as the semester progresses.
Late work and make-up exams: I do not accept late work, and I do not give make-up exams. You will notice that there are 11 exams, and I include 10 of them in your grade. After you miss one exam, no matter what the reason (including really awful stuff like the death of a family member or severe personal illness or trauma), you will suffer a five percent drop in your final grade for each additional miss. There is no variance from this policy.
